I took the Gestational Diabetes test a month ago and my number was a bit high, so I had to come back and do the 3-hr fasting test. I was so worried that I would have diabetes, so I told the baby the night before that if he helped Mommy to not have diabetes, then I would give him a treat the next day. The test wasn’t so bad, my butt just hurt from having to sit for so long. Luckily, I passed and didn’t have diabetes. So I drove over to Shirley’s Bakery and bought a dozen of their dinner rolls to celebrate. That was on a Friday, and they were all gone by Saturday night. I think Jared had one bite of one of my rolls...they just disappeared so fast. The baby and I had a fun party carb loading…and it was good!
Here is a picture of me last week at 30 wks. I wanted to wear the same outfit so I could see just how much I had grown…and MAN my belly really popped out!
From my 26 wk to my 30 wk appt I gained 8lbs! But my doctor said it was good, because I had only gained 10lbs before that. That appointment was on a Tuesday…and then on Friday Jared and I went to the gym and I weighed myself again—I had gained 3 more pounds! Maybe it is time to cut down on all the Costco Pumpkin Pie I love so much (Yes I bought a whole one, and yes I’ve been eating it all by myself; Jared doesn’t like it, so what choice do I have?).

Oh my gosh I can't believe how much you've grown! You look so cute! I feel like my belly has starting to grow really fast now too and I'm only 22 weeks!

Congrats on passing the Gestational Diabetes test!!! Did you know I had it??? Yuck, not fun! That 3 hour test was horrible though. I remember grading papers- I was student teaching at the time- in the waiting room, and everyone would look at me like, "what the crap are you doing?" You look great by the way! Keep updating!

I'm so glad you don't have it! That would stink! My friend had to do the fast test and said it was SO boring. I'm glad you treated yourself (and the baby of course) to the dinner rolls--you deserve it! You are looking so cute!!! I STILl can't believe that we're having babies! :)
